This Yazd antique rug measures 345 x 500 cm and shows the refined, time-softened character associated with its design tradition. The field is arranged with repeating floral arabesques and small medallion forms, all enclosed by a decorative border that still reads clearly through the wear. Woven in wool, it has medium distress, with visible fading and a subdued, atmospheric palette of burgundy, moss, slate, and ivory. Circa 1920 - 1940, the rug feels layered and composed, with age lending quiet variation across its surface rather than flattening the detail.
