The central field is anchored by a stepped niche motif, surrounded by geometric detailing and narrow borders worked with floral and lozenge elements. Circa 1850 - 1870, it shows medium distress, softened colour, and an aged surface that lends the rug a restrained, heritage-rich character with clear decorative rhythm.
