This Bijar antique rug, measuring 338 x 551 cm, combines an allover floral lattice with a stepped central medallion and an arch-like field, all enclosed by layered rosette and vine borders. Faded indigo, aqua, dusty rose, ivory, sage and charcoal lend the wool surface a subdued, weathered harmony. The design remains legible despite medium wear, with softened contrast, gentle fading and edges that show the hand of age.
