This Agra antique rug measures 300 x 396 cm and brings together an all-over floral field with starburst medallions, set across a blue ground and accented in neutral, cream, and white. The border structure is layered and precise, with burgundy and brown tones that hold the composition together from edge to edge. Circa 1900 - 1925, the rug shows low distress, softened colour, and scattered wear that enrich the surface rather than distract from it. Its wool handle and weathered finish give it a composed, heritage-led presence. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
