This Kurd antique rug measures 107 x 251 cm and balances a narrow ivory centre with a coral red outer field, giving the composition a tall, architectural presence. The inner panel is woven with a delicate geometric lattice, while the surrounding borders repeat rosette and medallion forms in blue, teal, gold, and navy. Wool pile, low distress, and softened wear lend a calm surface patina, with light abrash and age to the colour. Circa 1900 - 1920, it reflects the clear patterning and quiet complexity associated with a well-preserved Kurd rug.
