This Agra antique rug measures 678 x 737 cm, with a broad field worked in faded cream, white, and muted aqua tones. The allover floral layout shows dispersed palmettes, blossoms, and vine tracery, enclosed by a narrow border that still registers through the age-softened surface. High distress has created pronounced fading, visible wear, and an openly timeworn character, giving the rug a layered, almost painterly feel. Circa 1910 - 1935, it reflects the restrained elegance and mellowed detail associated with an antique Agra. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
