This Mahal antique rug measures 213 x 297 cm and shows a richly worn surface where the original pattern has softened into tonal layers. Woven in wool, it combines neutral and brown hues with traces of muted olive, rust, and ivory, creating a hushed, earthy presence. The border system is still visible, especially around the perimeter, while the centre carries significant fading and abrasion that blur the medallion field.
