This Heriz antique rug measures 61 x 282 cm and shows a long, slender format in wool, with a rust-red ground lifted by navy, ivory, brown, and muted aqua notes. Its field is organised with repeating geometric motifs and floral medallion forms, all contained by a narrow, patterned border that keeps the composition crisply framed. The low distress gives the rug a gentle, time-softened look, with lived-in edge character and mellowed colour throughout. Circa 1900 - 1915, it reflects the grounded pattern language and durable visual presence for which Heriz rugs are known.
