This Agra antique rug in wool measures 244 x 325 cm and shows a measured, formal design with a softened, time-aged presence. A central medallion anchors the composition, surrounded by scrolling floral arabesques and a border of stylised blossoms and leaves. Cream, pale green, and neutral beige are accented by plum and burgundy, giving the surface a muted yet expressive colour balance. Medium distress and visible wear lend the piece a calm patina, while the design remains legible throughout. Circa 1910 - 1945, it offers a grounded sense of age and refinement.
