This Heriz antique rug measures 112 x 127 cm and carries a composed, geometric presence in deep blue, rust, ivory, brown, pale pink, and light teal. A stepped central medallion sits within a field of repeated floral and angular motifs, creating a clear and ordered rhythm. The rust main border introduces contrast and structure, with smaller floral guard bands refining the overall layout. Woven in wool, it has low distress, softened colour, and an understated patina that speaks to age without overwhelming the design. Circa 1920 - 1935.
