A long Kurdish wool runner in a warm brown ground, the central panel composed of a repeating hooked medallion lattice with cream and white highlights and neutral outlining. Narrow floral guard borders and secondary guards flank the field, producing an architectural cadence along the runner’s length. The pile shows low wear and a soft hand, with gentle abrash that gives the colourway depth without obvious losses. This antique rug has a calm, heritage-worn presence and evident craft in its repeat motifs and border work. Circa 1880 - 1900. Measurements: 97 x 414 cm.
