This Heriz in wool presents a large geometric medallion and serrated palmettes set within a framed sequence of guard borders. The restrained neutral colourway is enlivened by red, navy and cream notes, the surface softened by even abrash and modest wear. The design reads architectural yet retains lively, stylised botanical motifs throughout the field, the overall effect tactile and heritage-aware. Low distress preserves the pile and the layered borders retain clear definition. The piece reads as an antique rug with a composed, aged presence. Circa 1900 - 1915. Dimensions: 345 x 579 cm.
