A narrow Hamadan wool runner with a dense palmette repeat set on a deep navy field, mellowed by time and subtle abrash. The multi-band borders in cream, muted red and neutral tan offer a disciplined sequence of rosettes and angular vine work that frame the central panel. Wear is low and even, with small areas of pile thinning that attest to age rather than damage. This antique rug reads as a textured, hand-made object where colour and pattern are quietly balanced.
