A narrow Mahal runner on a pale ivory ground, where a fine floral lattice, palmettes and hooked boteh motifs create a composed, rhythmic field. Gold and coral notes sit beside powder-blue and sage touches, the borders repeating the palette in a restrained register. The wool shows low distress and even mellowing, with gentle colour abrash and neatly preserved edges that retain a soft, tactile pile. This antique rug reads as quietly historic, offering subtle patina and careful workmanship rather than ostentation. Circa 1915 - 1930. Dimensions: 91 x 231 cm.
