Measuring 224 x 371 cm and woven in wool, the surface reads as an all-over palmette lattice punctuated by small rosettes and sinuous arabesques. Low distress and subtle abrash give the pile a soft, tactile patina while the border preserves richer red and brown notes. The restrained palette , faded reds, warm browns and cool blue accents , reads like a muted textile study. This antique rug holds a composed, time-worn character.
