This Agra is a considered wool piece, its ivory field warmed by cream and dusty-rose floral sprays arranged in a classic palmette and vine layout. Narrow guard borders in beige and taupe sit softly against the central field, their detail mellowed by time. The rug shows medium distress and a gentle abrash, the surface softened by wear yet retaining legible pattern and hand. The tactile pile and muted palette read like an object with history; an antique rug that balances delicacy and age. Circa 1900 - 1915. Size: 267 x 351 cm.
