This Heriz presents a restrained geometric centre softened by decades of wear. A prominent central medallion and repeating secondary motifs are held within a busy field, in brown and neutral colourways with cream and white accents. The wool fibre exhibits medium wear and gentle abrash, producing softened highlights and a muted, tactile surface; the border motifs are present but mellowed by time. The rug measures 137 x 193 cm and reads as an object of craft and use, an antique rug that balances formal geometry with patina. Circa 1910 - 1930
