The field is rich with angular palmettes, serrated foliage and geometric cartouches; the wide navy border punctuates the composition with repeating star rosettes. Low distress preserves the pile and pattern legibility while subtle abrash provides a cultivated softness to the surface. Appreciated as an antique rug for its tactile density and measured ageing, the piece is offered at 262 x 330 cm.
