Measuring 310 x 401 cm, this Heriz presents a large geometric medallion set within a compartmentalised field of stylised floral and angular motifs. Woven in wool fibre, the colour range moves between rich red, warm brown and soft neutral ivory, with dusty green accents and subtle abrash that reads as a painterly fade. Condition is low distress with even wear and intact borders; the pile remains tactile and hushed to the touch. The antique rug carries the hand of the maker in bold medallion geometry and carefully balanced field panels, each motif given clarity by restrained dyes and time. Circa 1880 - 1900
