An elegant Yazd in wool, the field washed in pale cream and softened navy motifs that read like a faded foliate tapestry. Repeating medallions and palmettes are linked by delicate flowering vines, the overall effect muted by even abrasion and softened colour transitions. The wide floral border is gently worn, its navy ground mellowed to a steely blue that complements sage and muted rose accents. This antique rug measures 356 x 457 cm and presents medium distress with subtle pile loss and abrash that speak to age and use. Circa 1915 - 1935.
