An Agra with a bold red centre medallion on a warm neutral ground, threaded with scrolling vine and palmette ornament. Soft gold accents and a deep red running border define the field and frame, while the wool pile retains low distress and a tender, slightly mellowed surface. The piece carries restrained signs of age rather than heavy restoration, an antique rug that reads as quietly lived in and materially sure. Circa 1900 - 1920. Measures 287 x 356 cm. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
