An Agra in a muted neutral colourway, rendered in wool with an all-over floral vine field and a quiet central medallion. Palmettes, small boteh forms and teardrop motifs float across a softly abrash ground, while a repeating cartouche border frames the composition. The piece has medium wear; the pile is mellow and the colours have settled into a refined, aged harmony that emphasises texture and hand. This antique rug retains a calm, reserved presence born of time and use. Circa 1910 - 1925. Size: 406 x 500 cm. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
