An expansive Agra woven in wool, its cream ground and pale rose accents form a restrained floral medallion and scrolling border composition. The muted red and gold motifs sit lightly on a neutral field, their outlines mellowed by even wear and gentle abrash. The texture remains tactile despite medium distress, and the pattern reads with a calm, antique presence. Measurements are 465 x 544 cm, a generous scale that emphasises the central oval and corner spandrels. Circa 1885 - 1900, this antique rug shows considered ageing and a soft, period-appropriate palette.
