An Agra in wool, presented with a muted, heritage-worn sensibility. The ivory ground is populated by scrolling arabesques, small diamond medallions and fine rosette clusters, drawn in taupe and dusty rose with charcoal accents. At 274 x 356 cm the field reads open and airy; the wool fibre has a low, mellow pile and soft abrash that subdues the original colours to a subtle, layered palette. A foliate border with repeated cartouche motifs frames the composition, its edges rounded by time. This antique rug balances floral vocabulary and measured geometry with a tactile, softened surface.
