This Agra presents a hushed palette of cream, beige and soft tan with muted rose and mauve highlights. The elongated medallion and stepped field unfold as floral vine work and articulated spandrels, the borders echoing with small repeat flowers. The wool shows medium wear and even abrash that mellow the design and emphasise a tactile, aged surface. The piece measures 254 x 442 cm and reads as an antique rug with considered restraint and material warmth. Circa 1905 - 1935. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
